Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching and there are so many things that are happening.  We have field trips coming up, testing dates and many other events.  You can find the times and dates of these on the classroom Calandar page. 

This week (5/7-5/11) we will be teaching the Family Living Curriculum.  If you have any questions about the curriculum itself, there is a copy of what is covered in the office.  If you do not want your child to participate, you can send a note with them to school by May 8th. 

Next week we will be having the third round of MCA Math tests for those students on team 5C have not passed it yet.  The students who have passed it already will not be taking it again.  As of now, there is about 45% of our team, that has not passed the test. 

We will be going on a field trip at the on June 5th to Aurelia park for the day.  We will walk over there at about 11am and will be poviding the kids with Pizza and dessert and then spending the day playing outside.  If your son or daughter has any sporting equiptement that they would like to bring they may, although they are responsible for it.  We are also taking into account those students who have missing work and have had behavior issues.  Those students that have massive amounts of missing work and have not been able to demonstrate good behavior in the classroom will be staying back at school in a study hall with another teacher.
